U15 sconfitti di misura dalla F&L

I knew coming into the game it was going to be a tough battle, and it was all the way to the last second!!

Forti e Liberi played well making all of their baskets when needed, and we did just the opposite missing easy open layups when we needed to make them. It was a close game.  No team lead by more than 6 points. Lesmo lead the way most of the game.  Halftime Lesmo was leading 33-30.  Lesmo played a bad 3rd quarter with many turnovers and bad shot selection. 45-45 was the score at the end of the 3rd qtr.

Foul problems hurt Lesmo in the last quarter Travaglino and Laffitte both had 3 fouls before the half and got their 4th and 5th in the 4th qtr.  During the 4th quarter both teams just exchange baskets.  Lesmo didn't want to take control of the game defensively which lead to a couple of easy baskets for Forti e Liberi.

Rebounding and playing defense at the end of the game was the turning point, something Lesmo did not do! 

As James Brown once said "THE BIG PAYBACK IS WHAT WE NEED!" We will see them in the Lesmo Dome!  We can't wait to give them the BIG PAYBACK!

Coach Laffitte

Come previsto alla vigilia è stata partita combattuta (massimi vantaggi non oltre i 6 punti) fino alla fine, con la F&L brava a giocare il suo basket al cospetto di un Lesmo che ha sbagliato troppe facili conclusioni.
Lesmo conduce nel punteggio ed è avanti a metà gara (30-33), ma un brutto terzo quarto, infarcito da palle perse e cattive scelte di tiro porta le due squadre a disputarsi gli ultimi dieci minuti in parità a quota 45.
Problemi di falli per Lesmo che perde Travaglino e Laffitte e non riesce ad imporsi in difesa ed a rimbalzo che si sono rivelate essere le chiavi di volta per la vittoria dei padroni di casa.
